Hello, we are Tanya and Ian, the founders of Power Drive Bikes. Power Drive Bikes is a specialist electric bike retailer offering competitive prices on electric, battery mid and hub drive e-bikes.
We are passionate about the care of the world we live in and are committed to helping our beautiful planet in any way we can. Our global environment is under a great and real threat from the overuse of fossil fuels spanning decades and changing our reliance on them is key to slowing down the damaging effects of global warming.
Using alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, wave and hydro technologies are gaining pace and are an innovative and sustainable way to produce electricity that we can utilise in many aspects of our daily lives, including the way we travel. Electric cars and buses are now widely used, which will only increase in number as we approach mid century and cities are set to make their centres fossil fuel free, with the fossil free zones constantly radiating out to drive down pollution related illness. This is good for all of us.
But the most exciting revolution for us, is the electric bike. E-bikes are eco friendly, sustainable, versatile and fun and because they are powered, they are available to just about everyone. Their advantage is they take the strain out of cycling, out of the hills and out of mobility. It doesn’t matter if we’re young or old, fit or out of shape, tall or short, an e-bike is available to suit each one of us. They are also incredibly versatile, whether we’re going to work, to the shops, out for a leisurely ride with the family or powering through the woods, we can do it all with an electric bike.
