What is a trekking bike?
A trekking bike is designed for longer distance rides. They can be ridden comfortably on roads and gravel tracks and usually have mudguards, rear carriers and lights fitted as standard.
What are the dimensions of the swept back handlebars
The Mark2 swept back handlebar has a diameter of 31.8mm and a width of 66cm.
Can an electric bike get up steep hills?
Yes, electric bikes are designed to climb hills. However the steepness of the climb and weight on the bike will affect the performance and as such consideration must be made to the torque rating of the bike. The higher the torque the more power the bike will have for hills and load.
What is Torque and how does it affect an electric bike?
Torque ensures greater performance, which is particularly evident in low cadences (pedaling speed). Torque is measured in Newton metres (Nm) and enables riders to start from standing quickly and makes it easier to climb on steep terrain. This also means riders have more power available directly in difficult conditions.
What is a good torque rating?
Most electric bikes have a torque rating of 45-60 Nm, which is sufficient for most journeys, however more powerful bikes have up to 90 Nm and the Himiway A7Pro has 120 Nm of torque.
Does the Revom fat tyre trike have a removable battery pack removable and if so can I get a spare one?
Yes, the battery pack can be removed and the battery is lockable, it comes with 2 keys. Spare batteries are on sale subject to availability.
What is an EAPC?
An EAPC is a vehicle classification in the UK and a shortened version of its full title of 'Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles', also known as E-Bikes or Electric Bikes.
Can I ride my EAPC faster than 15.5mph in the UK?
Sure! This is the limit where the motor assistance cuts out – you can otherwise ride as fast as you safely and legally can.
In the specs of my EAPC, it states that the maximum motor output is higher than 250w?
Peak power output is often double what the maximum continuous power output of the motor is and that is rated for 30 minutes. In short bursts, the motor can provide more power when needed.
Can I ride a derestricted electric bike off road?
Removing the speed limiter would then remove the EAPC classification, and you would be unable to ride it on cycle paths, bridleways or any other place where you would be able to ride a normal bike. They can be ridden on private land – with the landowner’s permission – as long as there isn’t public access to the land.
What is a fat tyre e-bike?
A fat tyre e-bike is an electric bicycle equipped with wide tyres, typically 9.6cm (3.8inches) or more in width. These oversized tyres enhance stability and traction, while the electric motor and battery provide pedal-assist or full electric propulsion. This combination offers a versatile and comfortable ride, especially on challenging terrains.
What is a step through e-bike?
A step-through e-bike is an electric bicycle featuring a frame design that allows riders to easily step through the space between the seat and the handlebars. This design, also known as a "low-step" or "step-through" frame, provides convenient and accessible mounting and dismounting, making it particularly user-friendly, especially for riders with mobility constraints.
What is an urban e-bike?
An urban e-bike is an electric bicycle designed for city commuting and short-distance travel. It typically features a lightweight frame, efficient electric motor, and a battery that provides pedal-assist or full electric propulsion. Urban e-bikes are crafted for manoeuvrability, convenience, and comfort in navigating urban environments and traffic.
What is a folding e-bike?
A folding e-bike is an electric bicycle that incorporates a folding mechanism, allowing it to be compactly folded for easy storage and transportation. This design makes it convenient for commuters and those with limited storage space. Folding e-bikes typically feature an electric motor and battery for pedal-assist or full electric riding.
What is an all-terrain e-bike?

These e-bikes are built to provide stability, traction, and performance in diverse outdoor environments.
